Michael A. Harrison was born in Mile End, St. Ann Jamaica, grew up in Ocho Rios, St. Ann. He graduated from Your Castle High School, Browns Town St. Ann, and is married with four (4) children. After graduating from High School, Michael spent the next nine (9) years working in the Accounts Department in the Hotel Industry in Jamaica, starting as a Clerk and working his way through the ranks to becoming an Assistant Financial Controller.
Michael migrated to the United States in 1990, where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, got baptized in May 1991, and has been living for the Lord since. Over the years, he has faced many challenges, obstacles, struggles and setbacks, but can testify that through it all he has learned to trust in Jesus, and can boldly say that in all these things he is more than a conqueror. God has given many victories!
As an Entrepreneur, Michael is licensed in the State of Florida since 1996 as a Realtor, and is the Broker / Owner of Joshua Realty & Investments Inc. He also owns a Vertical Blinds Business, H’Sons Interiors in Orlando, Florida, that Manufactures, Sells, Installs and Repairs Vertical Blinds, and 2″ Wood Blinds.
Michael has recently taken his Love for God, People, and the Commands of God, to a next level by creating a website… www.aservantofgod.net to cater for the needs of the people, and producing a one song CD titled ‘Radiant Life For Jesus.’ He is using this media to challenge believers to obey the great commission that Jesus Christ gave us in the Gospel of St. Mark 16 vs 15 – 18.
We are created by God for a purpose and each of us should prayerfully ask God to reveal to us His purpose for our lives. Upon God’s revelation of His purpose for us, we should boldly and relentlessly pursue that purpose, so that Almighty God will be glorified. Michael believes his purpose as a Servant of God, is to challenge believers to obey the Great Commission, remind the body of Christ about the importance of forgiveness, and to minister to the spiritual and physical needs of the people as outline in St. Matthew 25 vs 31 – 40.
Although Michael is not a Pastor, or holds any position in a church, he has been invited to different churches and ministries to share the word of God as the Holy Spirit directs. He is in the process of arranging different Missionary projects in Jamaica, along with ministering to their basic needs, like food, clothes and shelter as the finances permit.
